I’m going to speak about code quality (see my short version of the presentation) at the conference BASTA!
BASTA! is mainly focused on .NET technology and gives you the opportunity to see and speak with a wide range of technology experts.
If you have any feedback of what you are missing in my short presentation, please write a comment here or on the post with the presentation. The short version takes about 30 minutes and my speak at BASTA! is scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I will mainly show real life examples of the theory shown in the short version. But if you want to here something specific, ask for it
I’ll probably will publish the long version on this blog, too – for all of you not joining the conference.
So long…

Oktober 2009 in München

Just a quick announcement that I’m going to have a speech at the Prio 2009 in Munich on October 28. or 29. 2009.
The main topic of the Prio conference this year is “User Interface”.
I’m going to talk about UI development the TDD way and show how to use the Passive-View-Command pattern for better testability, extendibility and changeability.
I’m touching a lot of topics in this session:
- MVVM – Model View ViewModel pattern
- WPF commands and “normal” command pattern
- Unity – Inversion of Control Container
Everything will be shown with the help of a sample application which is distilled from the open source project collaboration tool ProCollEE.
Information about all the sessions can be found here.

For those of you interested in TDD:
I’m speaking at the conference SET (Software Engineering Today) in Schlieren (Zurich) on Tuesday May 5th.
I’ll show the basics of the TDD cycle, benefits and pitfalls, and how you get started.
